Why am I starting a blog?

Okay, here we go, I’m starting a blog and really, you only have yourselves to blame.

The Authors Note in Cassidy is Queen really took off, and a few people told me that they loved reading words in my voice, in my words, a few others told me that it was the best piece of writing I’d ever done (thank you?) and I started thinking, what if I wrote as myself a bit more.

Now, I’ve tried to blog before. Years, and years ago when I was quite young and didn’t really know what I wanted to get across, in fact I barely knew what I wanted to say – I started a blog because everyone else was, and it felt like the right next step, but honestly, there’s no point in creating a blog when you have nothing to say – right?

Well, I finally figured out what I want to talk about, welcome to The Why?

The question I get asked about my writing is, why? Why do I write short books?, Why is there a student/teacher relationship in Cassidy? Why did you set that book in 2006? It’s always why, and believe me when I say, I have the answers. I have everything thought out and planned even though I am simply the biggest pantser you’ve ever met (why do I pants you say?), everything has a reason, and everyone has a purpose, and every single one of my books is connected in some way – Love Actually who – so, welcome, settle in and let’s get better acquainted, I mean, why not?
